Abstract

¿¬±¸¸ñÀû : ¿ì¸®³ª¶ó Ä¡°ú°è¿¡¼­ ÀÇ·á°æ¿µÇÐ Áö½ÄÀº ÀÌ¹Ì º¸ÆíÀûÀ¸·Î ³Î¸® »ç¿ëµÇ°í ÀÖ´Ù. Ä¡°ú¼­ºñ½º¿¡ °æ¿µÁö½ÄÀ» È°¿ëÇÑ ÇöÀå »ç·ÊµéÀÌ Ç³ºÎÇÏ°Ô ¼Ò°³ÇÏ°í ÀÖÀ¸¸ç, ¸î¸î ´ëÇеéÀº ±âÁ¸ÀÇ °æ¿µÇÐÀÇ ÀϹÝÀû Áö½ÄµéÀ» ÀÇ·á°è¸¦ ¿°µÎ¿¡ µÎ°í °¡¸£Ä¡°í ÀÖ´Ù. ÀÌ ±Û¿¡¼­ Á¦±âÇÏ´Â ³íÁ¡Àº ±âÁ¸ÀÇ °æ¿µÇÐ Áö½ÄµéÀÌ ¡®ÀǷᡯ¶ó´Â ´ë»ó ¿µ¿ª¿¡ ±×´ë·Î Àû¿ëµÉ ¼ö Àִ°¡¿¡ °üÇÑ °ÍÀÌ´Ù.

¿¬±¸¹æ¹ý : ³íÀïÀ» ¾ß±â½ÃÅ°´Â ÀÇ·áÀÇ Æ¯¼ºÀº ÀÇ·áºÐ¾ß¿¡¼­´Â ÀÌ¹Ì Àͼ÷ÇÑ ÁÖÁ¦µéÀÌ´Ù. ¿¬±¸°á°ú : Á¦½ÃµÈ ÁÖÁ¦¸¦ ´Ù·ç±â À§ÇØ Áö±Ý±îÁö ³Î¸® ÀÐÇôÁö´Â ÀÇ·á°æ¿µ °ü·Ã ±³°ú¼­¸¦ »ìÆì º¸¾Ò´Ù. ³ª¾Æ°¡¼­ Áö³­ 20³â °£ ±¹³»¿¡¼­ Ä¡°ú´ëÇÐ ÇлýµéÀ» ´ë»óÀ¸·Î Á¦°øµÇ¾ú´ø °­ÀÇ ³»¿ë°ú °æÇèÀ» ¹ÙÅÁÀ¸·Î Ä¡°ú°æ¿µ ±³°ú°úÁ¤ °³¹ß¿¡ ÇÊ¿äÇÑ ÁöħÀ» °­±¸ÇØ º¸¾Ò´Ù. °á·Ð: °¢ ºÎ¹®¿¡¼­ ´Ù·ç´Â Áö½ÄµéÀÌ ÀÇ·áºÐ¾ß¿¡ Àû¿ëµÉ ¶§ ÀÇ·áºÐ¾ßÀÇ Æ¯¼º°ú ¾î¶»°Ô »óÄ¡µÇ°í ¹è¹ÝµÉ ¼ö Àִ°¡¸¦ Á¦½ÃÇÏ¿´´Ù. ¶ÇÇÑ °æ¿µÇÐ Áö½ÄÀ» ¾î¶»°Ô ½ÀµæÇÏ¸ç ¾î¶»°Ô °¡¸£Ä¡¸ç ¾î´À ºÎºÐÀ» ÃëÇÏ°í ¹ö¸± °ÍÀÎÁöµµ ³íÀÇ¿¡ Æ÷ÇÔÇÏ¿´´Ù. It"s very common to make use of hospital management knowledge in our country"s dental community. There is plenty of information on cases that have applied business administration knowledge into dental services, and several universities offer education on general knowledge of business administration in association with the medical community. In this study, whether it"s possible to apply existing business administration knowledge on the medical community without any modifications was discussed.
Due to the unique characteristics of medical treatment, there are disputes on this issue, which have already been familiar topics in this field. Illness and health that is the opposite of illness are absolutely a far cry from products that are the objects of business administration. For instance, health care personnels should be given autonomy as experts, and the same motivation theory cannot be applied to both health care personnels and company employees in terms of organizational management. In the medical community, customer value that is a term of marketing can be guaranteed only when service providers have sufficient medical knowledge and knowhow. Therefore how to resolve such structural conflicts in college education was examined in this study.
Textbooks related to hospital management that have widely been in use were analyzed to deal with this subject, and guidelines for the development of Dental Service"s Management curriculum were studied based on lectures that were offered to dental students in our country over the past two decades. The courses for Dental Business Management were largely classified into four: marketing and strategy, organizational administration, taxation and accounting, medical information and system management, and medical policy and medical quality control.
To what extents the knowledge of the above-mentioned fields would not be compatible with the characteristics of the medical field was explained. Besides, how to embrace and teach business administration knowledge and what part of that knowledge should be taken or not was discussed as well. When all these matters were discussed, it was noted that dental personnels should basically keep in mind dentistry even when they serve as managers, and that it"s possible for them to receive help from professional managers if necessary.
As business administration knowledge is practical knowledge, that should keep up with the flow of the times and contemporary socioeconomic business environments. What was suggested in this study is all Korean-style alternatives that were devised based on the Korean way of thinking and reality. It"s a shame not to make an experimental analysis of the effects of the alternatives in class, and what"s more regrettable is the fact that dental colleges don"t mostly offer Dental Business Management education as one of regular courses.
